About Us
Van Zyverden, Inc. is located in Huntingdon Valley,
Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia. We are housed
in 7,300 square feet of office and shop space. The shop
is conveniently located near major interstate highways,
and reaching customer sites is quick and easy. The
building is equipped with a ground-level bay door and
a loading dock for offloading trailers and trucks.
A true partnership is a two-way street — ideas and information flow openly and regularly, based on a foundation of mutual trust and respect for one another’s expertise — and our clients embrace this philosophy.
The best and most productive relationships are synergistic and goal-oriented, and a long-term relationship has the value add of deep-rooted industry and company knowledge and relationships.
Our client list speaks for itself. Since our earliest days, we’ve represented everything from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies with that same partnership approach and dedication at the core of every engagement. Every day, since 1996, we’ve been devoting our hearts and minds to our clients, achieving great successes and building lasting relationships
Van Zyverden, Inc. is a full-service mechanical contractor offering customers a wide range of services to help solve their problems. We have AutoCAD to assist in engineering the solutions for the customer. We have customers all over the United States, but our primary market is the Northeast, from Virginia to Maine and Ohio to New Jersey. Over the years we have established good relationships with many manufacturers and sales representatives, and we can bring many solutions to the customer's table.
Van Zyverden, Inc. was started in 1990 by Clinton van Zyverden. Clinton had been working for a number of companies in the processing industry as a plant engineer and applications engineer. In 1990 he created Van Zyverden, Inc to fill a niche in those industries by servicing, repairing, and installing chemical processing equipment. As the number of chemical companies in the northeast declined the installation, service, and repair of packaging equipment became the primary business. Van Zyverden still works in the chemical processing industry and maintains contact with that customer base.

Description
Your Installation Experts:
At VanZyverden Inc. every installation project the customer gets is important to us. We strive to provide excellent communication and customer support for all of our projects. And we have fun doing it!
Being part of the start-up or expansion of a brewpub, microbrewery or even a large-scale brewery is a source of excitement for our crews. So every brewery installation job that comes our way, we take pride in our work.
VanZyverden Inc. assists breweries in several ways. We have the experience and skilled crews to provide new installations and/or ongoing growth support.
Our services include:
- Tank Installations
- Custom Fabricated Mezzanines
- Piping & Mechanical Installs
- Electrical Connect/Disconnect
- Facility Relocations
We have worked on large jobs and small jobs. On the larger jobs, some tanks and silos are so large that they come in pieces and have to be assembled onsite by our welding team. We use forklifts, cranes, and gantries if necessary to install your brewery equipment and help you get up and running.
Sometimes tight conditions require creative solutions. If a portion of the roof needs to be removed so a tank can be lowered into position, that’s what we’ll do. Our team will recommend the “right” way to do it the first time!

Packaging Line
VanZyverden Inc. turn-key packaging lines are engineered to exceed your expectations. Our experienced sales staff listens to your goals and provide multiple options for you to achieve the packaging automation that meets your expectations and budget.
Description
We make upgrading your packaging line easy!
Our goal is to provide you with the best packaging line within your budget. We understand that making the right decision the first time is important. That’s why we ask all of the tough questions upfront. If a packaging/filling line is done the wrong way it can become very expensive to fix. Let’s work together to get it done right and under your budget! Below is our approach to help you select the packaging line you need.
First questions:
- What product and pack patterns do you want to run on your new packaging line?
- What is your target speed for your packaging line?
- What is your estimated budget?
Select a Depallitizer:
You have a few different options here. Depending on your product, you can manually depalletize or purchase an automatic depalletizer. There are multiple Depalletizers to choose from. Based on your budget we will recommend an option that will meet the speed requirements and budget.
Conveyor Configuration:
Over the years, VanZyverden has engineered multiple packaging line configurations for a variety of industries. We understand that there is no such thing as a “standard” packaging line. VanZyverden will customize a layout to fit your facility.
Select Your Filler:
Depending on your speed, you can select an in-line or rotary filler for your project. You can select a filler from one of the companies we represent or bring your own. Whatever works best for you and your business.
Packaging Machinery:
Your end-of-line selections are just as important as the others. Often, the packaging machinery at the end of the line is overlooked because you have the option to just throw labor at it. A simple cost analysis will show you how fast you can see an ROI by automating the packaging of your product. Below are a few options to think about.
- Hand Packing
- Cartoning Machinery
- Pick and Place Case Packing
- Drop Packing
Other Options:
We have covered the basics for your packaging line. As you know, there are unlimited options to consider when building an efficient packaging line. Below are a few more things to consider while we help you engineer the perfect packaging line for your location.
- Date Coder
- Can Warmer
- Case Erector
- Case Sealer
- Palletizer
Thanks for stopping by VanZyverden.net! We are looking forward to helping you with your project!

Description
The VanZyverden Depalletizer Twister with an optional can rinse can integrate with any Depalletizer. The twist cages invert the cans as they come off the conveyor from the depalletizer. Water or ionized air can be used to rinse particles out of the cans prior to re-inverting before filling. Twist rinse cages work well with canning lines running up to 850 cans per minute. Faster filling speeds don’t allow enough time for the water to drain from the cans before re-inverting.
